Celebrity Cruises is giving one of its most loved ships a major refresh. The Celebrity Solstice is undergoing a full redesign as part of the brand’s “Celebrity Renewed” programme, bringing new dining, entertainment, outdoor spaces, and upgraded staterooms to the ship.
This is not a minor refurbishment. It’s a full top-to-bottom transformation designed to modernise the Solstice experience while keeping the classic feel many guests already love.
The newly revitalised Celebrity Solstice is set to debut in March 2026, with sailings across Alaska and Asia.
The refurbishment focuses on four main areas:
In simple terms, everything onboard has been refreshed or reimagined.
Celebrity is positioning this as the first of many “classic ship” updates, with over half a billion dollars being invested across the Solstice Series fleet over the coming years.
One of the biggest visual changes is the introduction of Sunset Park, a redesigned outdoor area built for relaxing at sea.
This new space brings together open-air seating, lawn-style games, live entertainment, and a large screen for movies under the stars. It’s designed as a social, flexible space where guests can spend time throughout the day.
Nearby, the expanded Sunset Bar continues to offer one of the best views onboard, now with an even stronger focus on open-air social spaces and relaxed evenings.
The entertainment and dining offering has been significantly upgraded, with several brand-new venues joining the ship.
The Boulevard Lounge introduces a cabaret-style entertainment space with a rotating programme of live shows, including game-style daytime activities, trivia, and evening performances such as duelling pianos.
Just steps away, the Boulevard Bar offers handcrafted cocktails, designed as the perfect pre- or post-show stop.
Part sports bar, part games lounge, Celebrity Barcade is designed as a social hub onboard.
Guests can watch live sports, play billiards or darts, or enjoy casual board games in a relaxed but lively atmosphere.
A refreshed version of a guest favourite, Craft Social continues to focus on casual drinks, games, and a laid-back onboard atmosphere.
One of the most talked-about additions is Trattoria Romana, a new Italian dining venue focused on fresh, handmade pasta and tableside preparation.
This is designed as a more immersive dining experience, with an open kitchen and a strong emphasis on classic Italian flavours.
The award-winning Fine Cut Steakhouse also joins Solstice, bringing 30-day dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and an elevated fine dining experience already popular on Celebrity’s Edge-class ships.
Every stateroom onboard Celebrity Solstice is being refreshed, with updated styling and upgraded comfort across all categories.
AquaClass cabins now include spa-inspired touches such as:
Access to the spa and Blu restaurant remains a key benefit, with expanded AquaClass availability onboard.
The Retreat has been completely redesigned, offering a more premium all-suite experience.
Guests can expect:
It’s positioned as a “ship within a ship” experience, with a stronger focus on space, privacy, and elevated service.
The ship includes refreshed versions of several cabin types, including:
The key theme across all categories is more light, more space, and more modern design, particularly in the panoramic-style rooms with floor-to-ceiling views.
Celebrity Cruises is investing heavily in its Solstice-class ships to modernise the experience while keeping the classic cruising feel.
Over the next five years, more than half a billion dollars will be invested across the fleet to introduce updated spaces, new venues, and refreshed staterooms.
Yes. Every stateroom onboard Celebrity Solstice is being refreshed as part of the renovation.
The biggest new entertainment hub is the Boulevard Lounge, which features rotating live entertainment, interactive shows, and daytime activities every 45 minutes.
New venues include: Trattoria Romana, Celebrity Barcade, Boulevard Bar. Alongside returning favourites such as Fine Cut Steakhouse and Craft Social.
The newly renovated Celebrity Solstice marks a major step in Celebrity Cruises’ “Renewed” programme, bringing modern design and new experiences to one of its most popular ships.
With updated staterooms, expanded dining, and new outdoor spaces, this is effectively a brand-new version of a classic cruise ship.
Sailing begins in March 2026, with itineraries including Alaska and Asia.
