Looking for a casual lunch? Head to the Oceanview Café for a wide variety of buffet-style favorites, or grab a burger, hot dog, or other poolside favorite at Mast Grill.

Sailing on a Celebrity Edge Series ship? You have even more complimentary dining choices. Depending on the ship, you can enjoy elevated classics in the Main Restaurant, new American cuisine at Cosmopolitan on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex, Mediterranean-inspired flavors at Cyprus, or modern French cuisine at Normandie.

How Does Dining Work on Celebrity Cruises?

Choose the Dining Style That Works for You

Celebrity Cruises understands that everyone vacations a little differently. Some cruisers like having a set routine and knowing exactly when and where they’ll eat each evening. Others would rather keep things flexible and decide what sounds good when the mood strikes.That’s why Celebrity Cruises offers several dining options to fit different vacation styles:

Celebrity Select Dining Early or Late

With Celebrity Select Dining Early or Late, you’ll have a designated dinner time each evening, with seating times starting as early as 6:00 p.m. and as late as 8:30 p.m.

One of the things I love about traditional dining is the consistency. You’ll typically sit at the same table with the same tablemates and have the same waitstaff throughout your cruise. Before long, you’ll know your servers by name—and your tablemates, too!

It’s a great way to make new friends, swap travel stories, and share a few laughs over dinner. After all, some of the best cruise memories happen around the dinner table.

Prefer a more private experience? You can also request a table just for your own party.

Celebrity Select Dining Anytime

The other option, Celebrity Select Dining Anytime, is perfect for cruisers who want a little more flexibility with their evening plans.

Maybe you want to stay by the pool a little longer, relax in the adults-only* Solarium, enjoy a pre-dinner drink at the Martini Bar, or simply unwind in your stateroom after a busy day in port. With Anytime Dining, you’re not tied to a specific dinner time.

You can choose to dine anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Just head to the Main Dining venue when you’re ready, and the dining team will seat you as quickly as possible.

The best part? Celebrity Select Dining Early, Late, and Anytime all feature the same menus, with no additional cost.Each evening brings a different menu, along with a few favorites that remain available every night.

There is one thing to keep in mind: Anytime Dining is limited on each sailing and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you decide you’d like to switch your dining arrangement, check with the Maître d’ to see if space is available.

*Solarium kids’ hours are available from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on select itineraries, including Antarctica, Alaska, and the Baltics.

Is Celebrity Select Dining Offered on All Ships?

Celebrity Select Dining is available on all Millennium, Solstice, and Edge Series ships, giving you the flexibility to choose the dining experience that works best for your vacation style.

On Edge Series ships, Celebrity takes that flexibility a step further. You can choose your preferred dining time and select which of the four Main Restaurants you’d like to enjoy each evening. That means you can mix things up throughout your cruise while still enjoying the convenience of complimentary main dining.

Celebrity Select Dining on Millennium and Solstice Class

On Millennium and Solstice Class ships, the Main Dining Room is located toward the aft of the ship, but the dining locations differ slightly by ship class.

Millennium Class

On Millennium Class ships, the Main Dining Room spans Decks 4 and 5. Deck 5 is designated for Celebrity Select Dining Early or Late, while Deck 4 is used for Celebrity Select Dining Anytime.

Millennium Class ships include Celebrity Millennium, Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Summit, and Celebrity Constellation.

Solstice Class

On Solstice Class ships, the Main Dining Room is also located aft. Deck 3 is designated for Celebrity Select Dining Early or Late, while Deck 4 is used for Celebrity Select Dining Anytime.

Solstice Class ships include Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Silhouette, and Celebrity Reflection.

Celebrity Select Dining on Edge Class

The four restaurants share the same outstanding nightly menu, which changes throughout your cruise. But each restaurant has its own unique atmosphere, along with a selection of exclusive, regionally inspired dishes and drinks you won’t find in the other venues.

You can still choose Celebrity Select Dining Early or Late if you prefer a more traditional dining experience. With this option, you’ll be assigned one of the four main restaurants and can enjoy dinner at the same table with the same waitstaff each evening. You can also request to dine at one of the other three restaurants when you’d like a change of scenery.

One thing to know: the assigned restaurant and dining time aren’t necessarily as strict as they might sound. If you’re on Early or Late dining, you can often visit another restaurant if you prefer, rather than feeling locked into one venue.

Prefer complete flexibility? Celebrity Select Dining Anytime lets you choose any of the four restaurants each evening. It’s a fun way to experience the different atmospheres and sample the exclusive dishes at each venue.

Ultimately, Celebrity Select Dining puts you in control of how you want to spend your evenings—whether that means sticking with the same table and waitstaff or trying a different restaurant every night.

What to Wear to Dinner on Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises has moved away from traditional formalwear and embraced a more modern, relaxed approach to dressing up. So, unless you love getting dressed to the nines, there’s no need to pack a suit and tie or a ball gown. That said, if dressing up is your thing, go for it! The crew loves seeing guests get creative with their stylish outfits.

Celebrity Dress Code

For most evenings, the dress code is Smart Casual. This is the required attire for entry to the Main Dining venues, specialty restaurants, and the Celebrity Theatre.

So, what exactly does Smart Casual mean? Think comfortable, polished, and put-together. Dresses, skirts, long pants, jeans without rips or tears, and stylish tops or button-down shirts all fit the bill.

A few things to leave in your stateroom? Shorts and flip-flops—they aren't considered Smart Casual attire in these venues.

The bottom line: You don’t need a formal wardrobe to enjoy dining on Celebrity Cruises. Dress comfortably, look polished, and wear something that makes you feel great.

What Not To Wear

There are a few things that don’t make the Smart Casual cut. T-shirts, swimsuits, robes, tank tops, baseball caps, poolwear, and bare feet aren’t permitted in the Main Dining Room or specialty restaurants.

And while the Oceanview Café is much more casual, swimsuits and bathrobes aren’t allowed there either. So, if you’re heading from the pool to grab a bite, throw on a cover-up and some shoes first!

What are Celebrity’s main dining room options?

One of the things that makes dining on Celebrity Edge Class ships so unique is the choice. Instead of just one Main Dining Room, you can choose from four complimentary main restaurants throughout your cruise.

Each restaurant has its own stylish design and atmosphere, while showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients and culinary influences from around the world. It’s a great way to mix up your dining experience and enjoy something a little different each evening.

Cyprus

Cyprus brings the fresh, vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean to the table. Expect plenty of fresh seafood and light, flavorful dishes that are sure to delight your palate.Start with one of the restaurant’s exclusive offerings, such as sea bass ceviche or lemon-dill chicken souvlaki, for a delicious taste of Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.

Normandie

Here you can enjoy full-bodied wines which pair perfectly with French starters like chicken pate, baked brie, and potato and gruyere tarts. The entrees exclusive to Normandie include dishes like cassoulet of confit duck and salmon roasted with wild lavender.

Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan, available on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex, showcases Celebrity’s take on new American cuisine. The menu combines familiar favorites with elevated touches, making it an easy choice when you’re craving something classic with a little flair.

Start with a classic shrimp cocktail, then dig into a New York strip steak or enjoy home-style favorites like pork chops with string beans and sweet potato. It’s comfort food with a Celebrity Cruises twist.

Luminae

Luminae is reserved exclusively for guests staying in The Retreat, Celebrity’s luxury suite experience. And dining here is truly part of the experience—the menu is exclusive to Luminae, so you won’t find these dishes anywhere else onboard.

Expect elevated, globally inspired cuisine with dishes such as Alaskan halibut, Maine lobster tagliatelle, truffle risotto, and creamy burrata with pesto.

If you’re staying in The Retreat, Luminae is definitely one of the dining experiences you’ll want to savor.

Blu

Blu is an exclusive dining venue for AquaClass guests, offering a menu focused on fresh, healthy, and flavorful cuisine with a spa-inspired approach.

Start your morning with farm-fresh eggs, muesli, or a fresh-pressed juice. In the evening, enjoy a selection of lighter, wellness-focused dishes from a dinner menu that changes daily.

Blu is open for breakfast and dinner each day, making it easy to enjoy delicious, health-conscious options throughout your cruise.

Specialty Restaurants

If you’re looking to take your dining experience up a notch, Celebrity Cruises offers a variety of specialty restaurantsto choose from.

Murano, Tuscan Grille, and Le Petit Chef are just a few of the specialty dining options you may find onboard, depending on your ship. Many of Celebrity’s restaurants also take inspiration from the sea.

Sushi lovers can head to Raw on 5 for handmade rolls, ahi tuna, and fresh sashimi. Craving something more casual? The Porch brings the relaxed feel of a New England seaside town to the ship, with favorites like lobster rolls and a raw bar featuring fresh oysters.
